
Shannon Collins, MD PHD
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Collins began his journey in service and science by joining the U.S. Navy directly out of high school, where he was stationed in San Diego. Following his military service, he pursued higher education and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida.
In 2013, Dr. Collins moved to Arizona to begin medical school at the University of Arizona, where he completed both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in biochemistry. He then returned to South Florida for his internal medicine residency at Memorial Healthcare System.
Now, he is excited to return to Arizona to begin practicing medicine. His clinical interests include sports medicine, with a particular focus on joint-related conditions, as well as integrative medicine approaches. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to adult patients, ages 18 and up, and looks forward to helping individuals achieve their health goals through a personalized, holistic approach.
