Serign Marong, MD
Dr. Serign Marong is originally from Pullman, WA. He graduated with honors with his Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Spanish from Washington State University in 2002. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2010 and is certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.
He was a student athlete in college, playing football for Washington State University from 1997-2001, where he was a 3-time PAC-10 All-Academic student athlete. Go Cougs!
This athletic experience and many injuries over the years, is what gives him extra interest in sports medicine. His other interests include substance abuse and discussing grief. In his free time, Dr. Marong enjoys sports, spending time with his family, and travelling. He and his wife Michelle have a big, blended family of 5 kids. Their time is spent between teenager’s sports and their 4yr old son’s activities.
