Dr. Michalak was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his bachelor’s degree with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry at University of Arizona. His medical degree was obtained from Ross University School of Medicine. His residency then brought him to Marquette, Michigan where he completed his family medicine residency. Dr. Michalak’s professional areas of interests include Preventative Medicine, Dermatology, and Mental Health.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, including Golf, Hiking, Camping, Archery and Fishing.
