Jacinta Carney, PA
Jacinta was born in Chicago, IL but lived the majority of life in the Quad Cities of Iowa. She attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She worked as a medical scribe at a family medicine clinic to gain experience before applying to P.A. School and during that experience is where her love for primary care started. She continued her education at St. Ambrose University Physician Assistant Program in Davenport, IA and graduated in 2021 with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
In the beginning of 2022 Jacinta moved to Arizona, starting her PA career in Family Medicine in Phoenix, where she gained experience working full time in primary care. Her husband’s job brought them to Tucson in December 2022, where she looks forward to developing long-term and meaningful relationships with the staff and patients.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking a variety of meals from different backgrounds of cuisine, hiking the numerous and beautiful mountains in Arizona, reading and spending time with her husband.
Jacinta is excited to impact patients’ lives by being an advocate for their health and putting patient centered care at the forefront.
