Hanna Anderson, PA-C
Hanna grew up in western Pennsylvania and went to the University of Pittsburgh for her bachelor’s degree. During her time in college, she worked as both an EMT for an ambulance service and as a patient care technician in the hospital. These jobs strengthened her interest in healthcare and furthered her decision to become a PA. Hanna earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Chatham University. She chose to relocate this year to Tucson, AZ for the warm weather, outdoor activities, and close friends in the area.
During the program, she had the chance to do clinical rotations across the country, getting lots of experience in many types of settings. She fell in love with family and internal medicine, due to the wide variety of patient care. She is passionate about finding both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments that best fit a patient’s individual needs and lifestyle. She wants to empower her patients and encourage shared decision making so that the patient fully understands the diagnosis, diagnostics, and treatment plan.
When she is not at work, Hanna loves traveling and hiking, with her favorite hike out west being Bryce Canyon. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading books, cooking fun dinners, and staying active with workout classes.
