
Edward Mulligan, MD
Dr. Edward Mulligan was born and raised in New Jersey, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Seton Hall University in 2004. After spending several years working in pharmaceutical research and development, he decided to go back to school to obtain his medical degree. He graduated from St. George’s University in 2015, which was followed by an internal medicine residency at Jersey City Medical Center. He relocated to Tucson soon thereafter, where he began working at Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital as a hospitalist. His career led him to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he served as Hospitalist Medical Director and Division Chief of Hospital Medicine. He decided to transition to primary care in 2022 to develop a longer-lasting relationship with the patients he serves in the community.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two young boys, and Sally the dog. He is an avid runner, a novice golfer, and a lover of all activities involving the great outdoors.
