Christian Moher is a Board-Certified Family Physician, and his practice focuses on Primary Care and Preventive Medicine for Adults. He has a special interest in chronic disease management, behavioral health (including depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders), and end-of-life care. He believes in using the least amount of medication for the shortest amount of time, and believes in the restorative power of exercise, healthy diet, a positive attitude, and restful sleep to help us age in a healthy way.

Dr. Moher received his BA in English Literature in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then his Medical Doctorate from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson in 1999. He served his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. He has been back in Tucson since 2004 and is very excited to be joining the amazing team at Camp Lowell Medical Specialists.

Outside of medicine, Dr.Moher is married to a brilliant pediatrician, and has a son and a daughter who are attending the University of Arizona. He plays a ton of basketball and pickleball, has an active hot yoga practice, is a writer and poet, and plays keyboards and sings (occasionally!) in Tucson Desert Rock Legends SQWRL.

In 2018 the National Council for Behavioral Health awarded him the National Physician of the Year for his work on Integrated Care and the Opiate Epidemic. He was the first primary care physician to receive this award
