Charissa Kamps, MSN, FNP-C, has been a dedicated healthcare professional for more than 25 years, beginning her nursing career in 2000 and becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011 after earning her Master of Science in Nursing.

Throughout her career, Charissa has worked in emergency medicine, urgent care, and primary care, developing a broad clinical background and a well-rounded approach to patient care. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).

As she begins her work in pediatrics, Charissa is excited to focus on the health, development, and well-being of children and adolescents. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care while partnering with families to promote healthy development, prevent illness, and support each child’s unique healthcare needs.

Outside of work, Charissa enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, traveling, hiking with her dog, and participating in volunteer medical work in Malawi. Her experiences both professionally and personally have strengthened her commitment to compassionate, family centered care and to serving patients and communities locally and globally.
