Amy is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who grew up in the Phoenix area, she moved to Tucson 15 years ago to be closer to family. She started her career in healthcare 17 years ago as a registered nurse. She pursued a career in nursing with the desire to improve the lives of those with chronic and acute illness. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Grand Canyon University.

After working as a nurse in many diverse roles; trauma, orthopedics, psychiatric, neurological and end of life care, she wanted to continue her education to deepen her knowledge of chronic
illness and ability to help others. She has experience as a family nurse practitioner in urgent care and palliative care. Although she is trained to care for patients at every stage of life, she has a passion for geriatrics and those with life limiting, terminal illnesses as they navigate the many challenges of their health conditions.

She is a dedicated healthcare professional who is focused on providing compassionate and evidence based care to improve the health and wellbeing of all the patients that she cares for. Her goals in patient care are to empower patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare and help them achieve their wellness and quality of life goals.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys being with family. She is a loving mom to four precious fur babies. With a heart of gold, Amy has a passion to rescue older dogs and make their last years their best years. She is the proud owner of a large collection of plants and is always looking to add to her collection.
