Laura was born in Minnesota and grew up in Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona College of Nursing for her Masters Entry to Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees. She has served patients across the lifespan as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Saguaro Eastside Medical Group, in addition to helping shape future generations of nursing professionals as a faculty member at the University of Arizona. She was also chosen as one of Tucson’s Fab 50 Nurses in 2025. She believes that health and wellness are not a goal, but a lifelong journey.
