Ellen Pearson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) located in Tucson, Arizona. She was raised throughout the southwest living in many national parks. She graduated from the UofA School of Nursing with her BSN. Afterwards, she worked several years as a registered nurse in cardiac, hospice and internal medicine. She returned to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in family practice. Her training comprises management of acute and chronic conditions for all patient populations. Ellen prioritizes a patient-centered care approach and works with patients to empower them as an integral part of the healthcare team. Since earning her master's, Ellen has worked in oncology and looks forward to bringing this specialized care experience to the preventative care setting.

To balance out work, Ellen likes spending time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys hiking, walking the dog and traveling. Having been born in Big Bend National Park, Texas, she makes regular trips to this and other parks to explore nature.
