Alyssa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over a decade of diverse nursing experience to her practice. Originally from the Midwest, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 2011, and she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Arizona in 2024. Her nurse practitioner clinical training included immersive rotations in family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, and underserved populations across southern Arizona.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Alyssa worked as a registered nurse in inpatient and outpatient settings, primarily in adult oncology care. She worked on the hematology/oncology unit at Michigan Medicine and the women’s care unit at Tucson Medical Center. She also worked as a transplant nurse coordinator, guiding patients through cellular therapies at UChicago Medicine.

Alyssa is passionate about patient-centered care and education, preventive care, and improving health outcomes through evidence-based practice. She is excited to continue her career in Tucson, where she lives with her family. Outside work, Alyssa enjoys reading and exploring the desert with her husband and two children.
