Dr. Manuel Herrera is a South Texas native with parents from Mexico. He graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. in Biology and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center and has been practicing since 1987. Dr. Herrera is married to his wife Lucia, with whom he has one daughter, Sofia. In his free time, Dr. Herrera stays active by swimming, doing strenuous gym workouts, and hiking. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures with his wife.
