Dr. Max Lystrup is a board-certified physician with a passion for family medicine and sports medicine.
He takes a holistic approach to healthcare, incorporating exercise, diet, community, and mindfulness as important parts of the healing process.

Dr. Lystrup firmly believes that a healthy lifestyle can have a profound impact on both physical and mental well-being. He works closely with his patients to develop individualized plans for achieving their health goals.
In addition to his expertise in family medicine and sports medicine, Dr. Lystrup is certified in ultrasound-guided injections, regenerative medicine, and acupuncture.

With these additional certifications, he is able to provide his patients with a wide range of treatment options to address their unique needs. Dr. Lystrup has extensive experience in the field of sports medicine, having covered events such as the DOD Warrior Games and the Marine Corps Marathon.

He also served as a team physician for George Mason University, providing expert care to student-athletes. Dr. Lystrup completed his medical education at the Uniformed Services University and his undergrad at
the USAF Academy. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, running, and hiking around Tucson. Dr. Lystrup is also fluent in Spanish, which allows him to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
