Ram Subureddiar, MD
Dr. Subbureddiar obtained is MBBS at Sri Venkateswara Medical College in Trupati, India and his MD at Stanley Medical College in Madras, India. He completed his residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He started his practice here in Arizona in 2004.
As an internist and geriatrician, he provides primary care services for those 18 and over as well as focusing on the health of Tucson’s growing geriatric population. As an internist, his objective is to develop long term relationships with his patients and to create an individualized plan of care for each. As a geriatrician, his expertise is in the prevention and treatment of diseases of the aging, specializing in their complex medical needs. He recognizes the fragility of the elderly and the problems they encounter. His goal for these patients is for them to remain independent and safe. He provides accessibility by following them if they are admitted to Carondelet St Joseph’s Hospital or any east side nursing/rehab centers.
Outside of work, his passions are his grandchildren, his rose garden, cricket and volleyball. Another important aspect of his life is his civic and cultural participation in the Indian community, giving his time to various activities that help those in need.
