Dr. Juan Pablo Galvez is an experienced endocrinologist with nine years of practice. He served as the Endocrinology Fellowship Program Director at Banner University Medical Center-Tucson. Dr. Galvez completed his fellowship at the University of Arizona-Tucson and his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Before specializing in endocrinology, he worked as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and as a Senior Staff Hospitalist at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. He holds dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Miami. Dr. Galvez has extensive clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is comfortable managing complex endocrine disorders.

He is dedicated to fostering strong patient-physician relationships, patient education, and shared decision-making. His primary interest is caring for patients with diabetes mellitus and thyroid disorders. Outside of his medical career, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, travelling, reading, and music.

He is a native of Venezuela, Dr. Galvez is fluent in both English and Spanish. His background enables him to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring effective communication and personalized care. He is strongly committed to delivering exceptional healthcare to those he serves.
