Dr. Roth chose to go into Family Medicine because of the opportunity to treat patients with a wide range of medical issues, putting all my diagnostic and therapeutic skills to work to help them stay healthy.  Family Medicine allows him to interact with patients and their families on a personal level as well as a professional level.

Dr. Roth’s medical education includes; Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine: College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Pomona, California with board certifications of American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians; 1997 and recertifications in 2005 and 2013. He is also associated with American Osteopathic Association, Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

Throughout his career as a Family Physician, he has always believed that we are in the business of treating people, not just diseases.  Patients usually find that he is approachable and accessible, has a sense of humor, and can usually explain complex medical problems in plain, simple English.  With a gentle and caring office staff, we can make most patients feel at ease.

Although he enjoys the variety of medical issues that he faces every day, he is especially interested in the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Roth has lived in Arizona since the 1970’s, and has been practicing Family Medicine in Tucson since 1986.  In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Arizona Wildcats and Chicago Bears games, as well as playing piano, traveling, and building/programming computers.
