Dr. Giles graduated from medical school at the University of Calgary in 1991, and completed his internship at Rockyview Hospital.  He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas and was recruited to Tucson shortly thereafter.

Dr. Giles enjoys mentoring Internal Medicine residents, volunteering medical services abroad, and participating in fundraising efforts with his wife Robin, who is a nurse practitioner of 15 years.

He has two wonderful children, is an avid cyclist and enjoys traveling!
